2. Principles
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide this website and to respond to your enquiries. This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services, embeds no external fonts, maps or video services and contains no contact form.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by a service provider in Germany (STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Strasse 7, 10249 Berlin). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
When the site is accessed, the host automatically collects information transmitted by your browser and stores it in server log files: IP address, date and time of access, name and URL of the file retrieved, volume of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type and version, operating system and, where transmitted, the referrer URL.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically faultless operation and delivery of the website and in defending against attacks. Log files are deleted after a short period unless required to investigate a specific security incident.
4. Contact by email
If you write to us by email, we process your details solely to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where a contractual relationship is initiated or performed. We delete the data once it is no longer required and no statutory retention periods apply (in particular commercial and tax retention periods of six and ten years).
Please note that unencrypted email is transmitted over the internet and may be read by third parties. For confidential content, please agree a secure channel with us.
5. Recipients and third countries
Your data is passed on only to our hosting provider as a processor and to professional advisers and authorities where we are legally obliged to do so. No transfer to countries outside the European Union takes place.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). Please contact kontakt@epic-lofts.com.
7. Right to lodge a complaint
